Hospitality Administration Student Association Club
SFA has a student club for hospitality majors. Students meet monthly and organize activities that include visits to local restaurants, hotels, country clubs and events. Some of the events include the National Restaurant Show in Chicago, the Hotel, Lodging Show in New York City, the Las Vegas Hotel Show and the Texas Southwest Food Expo.
National Restaurant Association
Founded in 1919, the National Restaurant Association is the leading business
association for the restaurant industry. Together with the National Restaurant
Association Educational Foundation, the Association's mission is to represent,
educate and promote a rapidly growing industry that is comprised of 858,000
restaurant and foodservice outlets employing11.3 million people.

American Hotel & Lodging Association
The American Lodging Foundation is a 92 year-old federation of state lodging
associations throughout the United States with some 13,000 property members
worldwide, representing more than 1.7 million guest rooms.
The AHLF provides its members with assistance in operations, education, communications,
and is an advocate for the provision of a business climate in which the industry
can prosper. Individual associations provide representation at the state
level and offer many additional cost-saving benefits.

American School Food Service Association
ASFSA has been advancing the availability, quality and acceptance of school
nutrition programs as an integrated part of education since 1946. The Association
strives to see that all children have access to healthful school meals and
nutrition education. The primary activities of the association are:
