Sandra Hale Schoen, Senior Interior Designer at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, will be awarded this year’s Teagarden Award for distinguished alumni.
Sandra Leigh Hale Schoen has established a most successful career in Houston’s commercial interior design market. She is a licensed interior designer in the State of Texas with over 28 years of design work experience in sales and facility management. She began her design career immediately after graduation from SFA and has compiled an impressive resume of work with notable Houston companies such as Pennzoil and SLI Design. For the past ten years, she has focused on healthcare design with the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center. She is employed by the center as a facility manager and bears the title of Senior Interior Designer/Planner with Capital Planning and Management. Her responsibilities are varied and include the maintenance of the center’s Design Standards Program.
