SFA Dance
Welcome to the Dance Program. We hope that you, as a student, will find a supportive atmosphere to achieve your academic and personal goals as you take courses in subjects such as modern dance, jazz dance, ballet, composition, performance and history. You will find class sizes ideal for receiving individual attention from teachers while getting to know your fellow dancers. You will have opportunities to perform, choreograph and have hands-on experience on a backstage technical crew while pursuing a Dance Major, Minor or Teaching Field. Whether you are a transfer student or a first-time freshman, we hope you will find your stay with us a time of excitement and discovery in developing your skills and passion as a dancer.
