Q: What is Project DEVELOP?
A: Project DEVELOP is a partnership between Stephen F. Austin and 21 East Texas schools. The project is designed to promote leaders from within the partnering schools to lead their rural schools to exemplary status.
Q: Who qualifies to apply?
A: If you work for one of the partnering districts and your district's coordinator recommends you, you could have almost half of your principal certification tuition paid through the Project DEVELOP grant. We will pay $300 for each course you take in the program.

A: You work for one of the partnering districts, your district's coordinator recommends
you, and you plan to apply for a principal or assistant principal position
immediately following certification
Undergraduate degree from an accredited university
Minimum 2.5 overall GPA with a minimum 2.8 in the past 60 hours.
Teacher certification
Two years teaching experience
Score a minimum 800 composite on the verbal and qualitative portions of the GRE
