Karen Embry Jenlink, Ed.D. professor, received her doctorate from Texas A & M University at Commerce. Her areas of specialization within the doctoral program include higher education administration and research methodology. Her research interests include access and representation in higher education, leadership development, learning communities, social justice, and democracy. During her professional career, Jenlink has served in a variety of instructional and administrative roles in P-20 education, including dean, professor, administrator, and teacher leader. She holds extensive experience in accreditation, institutional research, fundraising, and innovation in higher education. The author of two books and over 30 peer-refereed articles and book chapters, she serves as the associate editor of Teacher Education and Practice and on the editorial boards of two journals, ACTION in Teacher Education and the Journal of Curriculum and Pedagogy. Jenlink has organized and participated in educational research internationally in England, Ireland, Hungary, and the Czech Republic.
