Legal Clips is NSBA’s free weekly e-newsletter. It is brief, available to anyone, and written in English instead of “lawyerese.” For those who are interested, links are provided to full articles and court opinions, as well as to additional resources. You can check out a sample issue and subscribe or unsubscribe at will at the link below. No spam.
NSBA’s School Law web pages include Issues pages organized by topic, with summaries of news articles, court decisions, and regulatory developments from Legal Clips, as well as links to additional online resources from many organziations.
The NSBA Council of School Attorneys features additional resources, including information on school attorneys.
The Texas Association of School Boards has very strong legal and policy services.
NBSA has a daily weblog, or “blog,” called BoardBuzz, which comments on education law and policy. This resource unapologetically reflects NSBA’s advocacy perspective in support of school boards and public education and is “edgier” than most such resources.
