Creative writing (fiction) and contemporary American literature.

Publications:

Mr. Sheehan's chapbook Proposals for the Recovery of the Apparently Drowned was published by Colony Collapse Press. His short fiction has appeared in Conjunctions, Necessary Fiction, The Sakura Review, Heavy Feather Review, and elsewhere, and his essays, reviews, and interviews have appeared in The Rumpus, The Quarterly Conversation, The Sonora Review, and DIAGRAM. He is an assistant fiction editor and the reviews editor for DIAGRAM, and a former editor in chief of Sonora Review. He was awarded a McCreight fiction fellowship by the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing. He is co-advisor of the student organization Subplots: Friends of Creative Writers.
