WHAT: The Employee Wellness Connection (EWC) is designed to create opportunities for education and participation in programs which will improve the overall health and wellness of each employee of SFA.
WHO: The Employee Wellness Connection will strive to meet the needs of all full-time and part-time faculty, administrators and staff.
WHERE: The Employee Wellness Connection will take place in various facilities on campus. Programs are scheduled before and after work plus during the noon hour.
COST: The EWC program offerings are free to all full-time and part-time faculty, administrators and staff.
HOW: Contact Juanita Finkenberg (Coordinator of the EWC) at 468-1680, by email (jfinkenberg@sfasu.edu) or stop by the Lucille Norton Health and Physical Education Complex Room 105. Complete the required registration information. Select one or several programs in which you wish to participate. Some programs have limited enrollment.
PROGRAM: Program offerings include, instructor-conducted water aerobics,
aqua-fit and fitness classes, and noon-time basketball.
All EWC participants must complete registration prior to beginning any program
offering. You may need to seek medical clearance prior to beginning an exercise
program. Participation in some programs may begin at any time during the semester.
Lockers are available at no charge for EWC registrants in the Norton HPE Complex.
Instructors and session leaders are professionally trained and qualified.
