SFA News - Watterston bench dedication

NACOGDOCHES, TEXAS – Shirley Watterston, seated, was recently honored by Ed and Gwen Cole with a hand-crafted bench they had designed and built for The Cole Art Center @ The Old Opera House in recognition of her years of involvement with the Nacogdoches arts community. Sam Wright of Wright Custom Cabinets designed and built the bench on which Watterston is seated. It is now a permanent fixture in the Jack and Doris Ledbetter Gallery of the Art Center. Pictured with Watterston are her daughter, Shari Ellsworth, granddaughter Shae and Dr. F. Barry Roberts.
