Art from Local Artists and Collectors on Exhibit at Cole Art Center

"Coyote" by Fernando Andriacci "Coyote" by Fernando Andriacci NACOGDOCHES, TEXAS - Art work from the collections of Nacogdoches artists and members of the SFA Friends of the Visual Arts are included in "Cool and Collected," an exhibition running through Friday, June 6, at The Cole Art Center @ The Old Opera House.

"This exhibition is a wonderful way for people to gain an intimate view of art that is housed in several homes and studios right here in Nacogdoches," said Christian Cutler, director of SFA galleries. "It includes works by local artists such as Gary Parker, Peter Andrew and Burke Wasson, to name only a few."

"Cool and Collected" is a joint presentation of the Stephen F. Austin State University College of Fine Arts, the School of Art and the SFA Friends of the Visual Arts.

The Cole Art Center @ The Old Opera House, located at 329 E. Main St. in downtown Nacogdoches, is open to the public from 12:30 to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. Admission is free. For more information, please call (936) 468-1131.
