SFA to Present "Broadway Bistro" Dinner Theater

NACOGDOCHES, TEXAS - The Stephen F. Austin State University College of Fine Arts, School of Music and Friends of Music will present a dinner theater titled "Broadway Bistro: the Great Songs of Broadway" Thursday, Jan. 25, and Friday, Jan. 26, at the Fredonia Convention Center. All proceeds will benefit the scholarship fund in the voice/choral area within the SFA School of Music.

SFA music faculty members Richard and Debbie Berry, Deborah Dalton, Bruce Fowler, Nita Hudson, Tim King and Scott and Kimberly LaGraff will perform songs from Broadway shows such as "Sound of Music," "Phantom of the Opera," "Gigi" and "Les Miserables." Shirley Watterston will accompany on the piano.

A cash bar will open at 6 p.m., and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m.

Seating at tables for up to 10 people is by reservation only. Tickets are $35 each, and special patron seating is available for $60, $75 or $100. The deadline for purchasing tickets is Tuesday, Jan. 23.
