SFA Student Photography Exhibition to Open

Sylvia Bierschenk - April 15, 2008

NACOGDOCHES, TEXAS - "Decisive Moments," an exhibition of works by advanced photography students at Stephen F. Austin State University, will open at 6 p.m. Friday, April 18, at Morning Glory Yoga Studio, 207 E. Main St. in downtown Nacogdoches.

The exhibition, which will run through Thursday, April 24, includes two to three color and black and white photographs by each student photographer.

Each of the 13 students has been working all semester on one of three themes--self-portraiture, domesticity and performance, explained Sarah Sudhoff, SFA visiting assistant professor of photography and the students' instructor. "And all of the photographs relate somehow to the show's title, 'Decisive Moments.'"
