The College of Sciences and Mathematics contributes to the education of all students through the presentation of fundamental concepts and methods of science and mathematics. The college also provide the counseling and fundamental education required for professional programs in health and engineering sciences and for professional studies and careers of a scientific or mathematical nature. The college is home to seven academic departments: Biology; Biotechnology; Chemistry; Geology; Math and Statistics; the School of Nursing and Physics and Astronomy.
