Apply to the Graduate Program in History



Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the Graduate Program in History, applicants must meet general university admission requirements and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 in at least 18 hours of undergraduate credit in History or History-related courses. An applicant lacking any of the above requirements may be admitted provisionally or on probation. The department may also permit "stem work" in basic courses to bring students up to departmental requirements.

Applications are accepted year-round: August 1st for Fall admission, December 7th for Spring admission, May 7th for Summer I admission, and June 15th for Summer II admission
