*History majors may not use HIS 151 or HIS 152 for these categories. They must use one of the listed alternatives. Exceptions may be granted by the chair in rare circumstances, such as a switch to a history major late in a student’s degree.
- History Major Requirements: Complete either section A or B
A.History Major alone: 30 hours, GPA within major must equal 2.0
- Writing Enhanced: Three courses, at least two of which must be in the History Department
- Other
- Completion of a second major or minor with minimum GPA of 2.0 (See secondary advisor.)
