The Family and Consumer Sciences Student Organization is open to all Human Sciences major. The purpose of the organization is to promote family and consumer sciences, advocate for families, and individuals and to interface with family and consumer science professionals and students. University members often attend AAFCS district, state, and national meetings, along with FCCLA Meetings at the state level and serve as judges for STAR events. Members may apply for scholarships on a state and national level. Dues are $30 for state and national and $5 for local.
