SFA’s Annual Undergraduate Research Conference

The Undergraduate Research Conference (URC) celebrates academic achievements and scholarly excellence at SFA. URC 2010 will showcase student projects completed across
SFA’s six colleges over the previous calendar year.
What’s in it for students?
Awards
- $250 cash awards to the six top scholars (one for each college).
- Over 30 certificates for scholarly excellence across the university.
- Special designations and supplemental awards for outstanding projects in a variety of subcategories.
Opportunities
- A high-profile event in which to present research or creative work. (Top scholars will each give a 15-minute interactive, presentation; certificate winners will give poster presentations.)
- Great differentiator for students’ resumes and applications to graduate schools.

Thurs, Feb 18, 2010 - Deadline for student submissions to departments
Fri, Mar 5, 2010 - Deadline for departmental submissions to Deans’ Offices
Tue, Mar 23, 2010 - Deadline for colleges submission to the Honor’s College
Fri, Mar 26, 2010 - Winners announced to the university
