Wisely Scholarships
The School of Honors is proud to announce the competition for three (3) awards in the sum of $1,000 for the coming year. Incoming freshmen are not eligible to apply for the Wisely Awards. You must be a currently enrolled student and member of the School of Honors to compete for these awards. Please complete the online application and submit a fairly detailed, typed letter explaining your achievements, activities, and other reasons why you think you are worthy of a Wisely award. Be sure to include your academic plans and ambitions and inform the committee of what you hope to achieve at the university and after graduation. There will be other considerations besides grades in the evaluation. Copies of anything of note you have written should be included. Photocopies of awards you have won, or photographs of projects you have completed, or printed recognition of your achievements while here at SFA, would also be useful. Finally, a letter of support should be presented from someone who can verify your accomplishments in a serious way. This documentation should all be sent to:

The deadline for submission of all materials is Feb. 1. Applicants will be notified on or about May 15.
