Living on Campus is one of the best and most rewarding experiences of your university career. Students who are younger than 21 years of age and have earned less than 60 hours of course work reside and dine on campus and have the opportunity to discover the full university experience.

The residence life program exists as an integral part of the educational program and academic support services of the university.

The Residence Life Department exists as an integral part of the educational experience and academic support services of Stephen F. Austin State University. The mission of the Residence Life Department is to provide a learner-centered residential environment which is conducive to the academic success and personal development of our students.

ALL RESIDENCE FACILITIES WILL CLOSE: Wednesday, Nov. 25 at 2 p.m.

FACILITIES WILL RE-OPEN: Sunday, Nov. 29 at noon

An inspection of all rooms may take place prior to closing.

BEFORE YOU LEAVE, please be sure to do the following:

  1. Empty all trash.
  2. Lower blinds and open them slightly, sunlight pointing upward.
  3. Turn off all lights.
  4. Lock all doors.
  5. Lock all windows.
  6. Take all valuables and cherished belongings home.

SFASU is not responsible for the contents of your room. If you have any questions, contact a member of your Residence Life staff.
