Wisely Hall #5 is a small co-ed community that houses the Academic Excellence Center . It is a centrally located residence hall that houses 69 students, with 24-hour quiet hours. A first semester freshmen must have a minimum 1220 SAT or 27 ACT plus, graduation in the top 25% of their high school class. Transfer students must have a minimum 3.25 GPA and a minimum of 15 transfer hours.
Students are required to maintain a 3.25 cumulative GPA in order to continue to live in the Academic Excellence Center . First semester freshmen or first semester transfer students from another institution that make between a 2.5 and a 3.25 GPA their first semester in the Academic Excellence Center are extended a one semester probation period. All other residents that do not meet the GPA requirement will be transferred to another residence hall.
Wisely's small family-like atmosphere is inviting and comforting. A cozy environment is a perfect place to study and hang out with your friends. Our community kitchen on the first floor, adds that extra touch of home. As perennial hall of the year candidates, the community at Wisley has been a large presence at campus level RHA events as well as hosting a variety of its own programs such as Friends and Family Weekend, Stay at Home Weekend, and the Annual Battle of the Sexes.
