Facility Transfer Procedures
If you need help, visit our website or call 468-5999 on September 2 from 9AM - 6PM!
Fall 2008 - Facility transfers will only be offered if space is available.
When: Wednesday, September 2, 2008
Where: Online through your mySFA account (Transfers to Wisely hall will be done in our office during your designated classification time)
Who: Current SFA residents - Based on your student classification

| 10:00AM-6:00PM | Juniors |
| 11:00AM-6:00PM | Sophomores |
| 12:00PM-6:00PM | Freshman |
If you have not completed your housing contract or submitted the full $100 deposit, you will NOT be able to participate in Facility Transfers.
To complete your housing contract you may do so at Housing Services through mySFA or to submit the full $100 deposit please visit the Residence Life Department.
Steps to complete a facility transfer:
- Log in to mySFA
- Click on myServices
- Click on Housing Services
- Log in to Housing Services using mySFA Username and PIN
- At the bottom of the page, you will click the "FACILITY TRANSFERS" link
- At this time you will complete a search for the building and unit that you want.
- When you have completed this search and selected an available unit, for which you meet the qualifications, you will have successfully changed your housing assignment!
- You are now ready to proceed with the transfer process - Click Moving Instructions for more information
Eligibility requirements still apply to Wisely Hall and University Woods Apartments. To view eligibility requirements, please click here.
ONCE YOU REQUEST A FACILITY TRANSFER, YOU MUST COMPLETE THE TRANSFER BECAUSE YOUR CURRENT UNIT MAY NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE.
Please note:
If you choose a unit in Garner Apartments you will be defaulted to the 9-month contract period (August 21, 2008 - May 31, 2009). If you choose a unit in Garner Apartments and wish to have the 12-month contract period (August 21, 2008 - August 15, 2009) please contact us at housing@sfasu.edu.
If you choose a unit at University Woods Apartments, this summer, you will be charged housing for the summer months whether or not you have enrolled for classes or have officially checked-in.
If you would like to request a transfer to Wisely Hall please visit our Residence Life Department (Austin Building room 131) during your assigned time. See criteria for Wisely Hall to apply.
