Living on Campus is one of the best and most rewarding experiences of your university career. Students who are younger than 21 years of age and have earned less than 60 hours of course work reside and dine on campus and have the opportunity to discover the full university experience.

Fire Safety Day activities are set for Monday, November 16, 2009 at Stephen F. Austin State University. The Nacogdoches Fire Department, SFA Residence Life and the SFA Office of Environmental Health, Safety & Risk Management will host an event at the intramural fields at 4:00 p.m.
Everyone will have the opportunity to learn proper procedures using a fire extinguisher with small trashcan fires. There will also be an interactive fire safety video game available (similar to a Wii). The Nacogdoches Fire Department will be onsite to answer questions or give tours of their trucks and vehicles.
Finally, we will have a mock residence hall room at the bonfire site to set afire and burn to the ground to demonstrate the graphic realities of fire and underscore the importance for fire safety. We hope to see you there!
