Compensation & Classification Responsibilities:
- Establishing and maintaining a compensation program that considers the external market, while focusing primarily on ensuring internal equity and emphasizing the advantages of a collegial work environment. Ensures pay practices are applied fairly, consistently and effectively.
- Conducting position reviews to determine appropriate classification titles, salary grades, and overtime exemption status.
- Creating and maintaining job descriptions that accurately describe the duties and responsibilities of each position.
- Consulting with departments regarding reorganization, restructuring, and other compensation & classification issues.
