Establishing and maintaining a compensation program that considers the external market, while focusing primarily on ensuring internal equity and emphasizing the advantages of a collegial work environment.

Ensures pay practices are applied fairly, consistently and effectively.

Conducting position reviews to determine appropriate classification titles, salary grades, and overtime exemption status.

Creating and maintaining job descriptions that accurately describe the duties and responsibilities of each position.

Consulting with departments regarding reorganization, restructuring, and other compensation & classification issues.
