Welcome to the Bettye and Murphy George Independent Living Skills Model Apartment
The independent living skills apartment is supported in part by a gift from the Bettye and Murphy George Foundation. The apartment is used by the Rehabilitation Services program, the Orientation and Mobility Program, the School Psychology Program and the Low Vision program to provide students a setting to teach persons with disabilities independent living skills including cooking, cleaning, and washing clothes; skills that it takes to live in an apartment on one's own.
