Student Email

SFA Student e-mail is hosted by Microsoft Office 365. The old student email services, hosted by SFA on the titan server (titan.sfasu.edu, a POP3/IMAP server), will continue to work until early summer 2015. Information on the Office 365 email transition is located here.

For help with e-mail passwords, please contact the Help Desk at (936) 468-HELP (4357). If students forget their mySFA password and have not set up their myPassword profile, they must contact the Office of the Registrar at (936) 468-2501.

Using myPassword

SFA uses Active Directory to manage access to mySFA, networked computers, Exchange e-mail, and other SFA systems. myPassword, located at https://mypassword.sfasu.edu, is used to manage the Active Directory password. It is important to set up your myPassword profile so that you can reset your password in the event you forget it. Once logged into your myPassword profile, you can set three security questions. These security questions will allow you to resolve password issues without having to contact SFA.

If faculty/staff forget their mySFA password and have not set up a myPassword profile, they must contact the Help Desk at (936) 468-1212 to have their password reset.

If students forget their mySFA password and have not set up a myPassword profile, they must contact the Office of the Registrar at (936) 468-2501.
