Managing Your Messages



View Quarantine
Digest Message
Whenever you receive new messages that have been held as suspected spam, you will receive a message alerting you to that fact. You should take the time to login and check your quarantined messages for anything important. Click the link on the left to view the e-mail message that will be sent to you when new messages have been quarantined.

After logging in, you will see your quarantined e-mail.  If you see a message that you want delivered to your e-mail account, put a check mark by that message and you can click on "Release".  If the message is from someone that you are familiar with and you never want that person's e-mail held as suspected spam, you can click on "Release and Always Allow".  This will deliver the message to your e-mail account and place that person's e-mail address in your allow list so that from now on it will be delivered straight to your e-mail account and won't be inspected for spam.

with Headers
You can read a message by clicking on the subject.  Note that any images that are in the message will not be displayed while it is in your quarantine area.  You will have to release the message to see these images.  Also, you can see the complete headers by clicking on the magnifying glass when viewing the message. Click on the links to the left to see these two views.


View Deleted
Items Mailbox
If you wish to delete a quarantined message, simply put a check mark in the box beside it and click "Delete". This will move the message into the "Deleted Items" mailbox. That way, if you delete the wrong message you can find it in the "Deleted Items" mailbox and still release it to your e-mail account. You may also choose to delete the message and add the sender's address to your block list. You can do this by putting a check mark in the box beside the message and clicking "Delete and Always Block". Please note that deleted messages are removed every night automatically from the "Deleted Items" mailbox. If you don't wish to take the time to look through your quarantined messages, you can simply click on "Empty" and all the messages will be moved to the "Deleted Items" mailbox. You cannot move messages from your "Deleted Items" mailbox to your "Quarantine" mailbox. You can only release them to be delivered to your e-mail account.   Click the link on the left to see the "Deleted Items" screen shot.

of Sorting
By default, your messages are displayed in chronological order, newest first. You have the ability to sort based on the following fields: From, Subject, Date, and Size. Just click the corresponding word above your messages and they will be sorted based on that field. Clicking once will sort in ascending order. Clicking a second time will sort in descending order. Click on the link to the left to see views of the different fields sorted.

The number of messages displayed is set by default in your Preferences section. You can change that value if you want to see more or fewer messages for each page. You can also navigate between pages using the arrows and page numbers at the bottom and top of each page. Click the link on the left to get an idea of where on the page these are located.
