Sending Mail Through SFA's E-mail Servers |
To access your configuration settings for Eudora 6.1, choose "Tools" and then "Options". The following images will show you the rest. When you are finished making your changes, click "OK".

Under "Category", select "Checking Mail". Beneath the words "Secure Sockets when Receiving"
there is a drop-down box. Select "Required, Alternate Port". Proceed to the next image.

Under "Category", select "Sending Mail". Check the box next to the words "Allow authentication".
Beneath the words "Secure Sockets when Receiving" there is a drop-down box. Select "Required,
Alternate Port".

If your "Checking mail" and "Sending mail" categories match the images
above, you are finished changing your configuration and you can click "OK".

In addition, Eudora users may see an error message like one of the following.

Follow these steps to solve this problem. Go back into your configuration
and choose either "Sending Mail" if you were sending mail when the error occurred,
or "Checking Mail" if you were checking mail when the error occurred. Click
"Last SSL Info" to the right of where it reads "Required, Alternate Port" (see one
of the above images). You will see the following screen. Click "Certificate Information Manager".

You will see the following screen. Click "Add to trusted".
|

You will see the following screen. Click "Done". Then click "OK" and then "OK"
one more time to exit your configuration. You should now be able to send and
receive e-mail.
