AD-64 VOICEMAIL QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE

HOW TO INITIALIZE YOUR MAILBOX:

1) From your telephone, dial 6245 (MAIL). If your phone has a MESSAGE button, you may also use that to access the voicemail system.

2) VoiceMail will play a Tutorial (Follow ALL instructions to the end or the system will NOT set up your mailbox.)

Passwords are required to keep your mailbox private. When prompted, be sure to choose a password that would not readily be identified such as 1,2,3,4 or 5,5,5,5.


HOW TO RETRIEVE YOUR MESSAGES FROM YOUR TELEPHONE:

1) Dial VoiceMail Extension Number 6245 (MAIL) or press the MESSAGE button (if you have one)

2) When prompted, enter your password

3) Unplayed messages will play automatically


HOW TO RECEIVE YOUR MESSAGES FROM ANOTHER EXENSION:

1) Dial VoiceMail Extension Number 6245 (MAIL) or press the MESSAGE button (if you have one)

2) Depress #

3) Enter “8” then your mailbox number

4) When prompted, enter your password

5) Unplayed messages will play automatically


HOW TO RETRIEVE YOUR MESSAGES DURING AND AFTER BUSINESS HOURS FROM OUTSIDE YOUR OFFICE:

1) Call the Voicemail Direct Number 936-468-6245

2) Press “8” + your mailbox number

3) When prompted, enter your password

4) Follow the prompts

5) Unplayed messages will play automatically


HOW TO LEAVE MESSAGES FOR OTHER EMPLOYEES FROM YOUR TELEPHONE:

1) Dial VoiceMail Extension Number 6245 (MAIL) or press the MESSAGE button (if you have one)

2) When prompted, enter your password

3) After successful login, depress the 5 key on your dial pad

4) Enter Mailbox for which you wish to leave a message

5) Record your message

6) When complete press * or hang up


TO TRANSFER A CALLER DIRECTLY TO A MAILBOX:

1) If using a Dterm phone, press TRANSFER to transfer
If using a single-line phone, press # to transfer

2) Dial Voicemail Direct 6245, press #

3) Dial the 4- digit Mailbox number followed with “5”

4) Hang up to transfer caller

Saved Messages 30 Days

Held Messages (Not saved or deleted) 2 Days

Maximum Message Length 1 Minute

The Voicemail system will automatically delete your messages should they be stored beyond the above parameters. A message may be “resaved” however in order to extend the 30 day limitation.
