Michael Tubbs teaches publication layout and design in the Department of Mass Communication and advertising design and digital media courses in the School of Art. His areas of specialization include print media design, vector graphics, web design, videography and motion graphics. He also serves as a team teacher for students competing in the American Advertising Federation's National Student Advertising Competition.
Michael has worked as a freelance graphic designer and videographer serving local, regional and national clients. He has produced award winning web videos for national and international clients including Proctor & Gamble, the National Cancer Institute, TomTom Europe and Robert Half Professional Staffing. His other professional experience includes two years as an account executive in cable television advertising sales and four years as the sales and marketing director for a national fundraising company.
