Eric Faulk

As Adjunct Faculty, Eric Faulk teaches Convergence Reporting. Mr. Faulk is an accomplished strategic communications manager after working professionally in the private and public sectors for more than a decade. He served as a speechwriter in Washington, D.C., for a member of the President's Cabinet, as well as for a statewide elected official in Texas. He also led teams that executed complex communications strategies designed to manage crises, inform publics, and persuade purchase decisions.

PROFESSIONAL WORK ACHIEVEMENTS

Mr. Faulk earned his Master of Arts in Communications at the University of Texas at Austin and his Master of Public Affairs at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin. Also, holding a Bachelor of Arts in English and Linguistics from Trinity University in San Antonio, he has a passion for coaching students to optimize their writing abilities and lead successful careers in whatever field they choose.

In his free time, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife, Kelley, and his two Shi-Tsu / Lhasa Apso puppies.
