Clinics and equipment rentals
If you’re interested in getting a bit more adventurous, or expanding your camping skills, SFA’s Outdoor Pursuits program offers trips throughout the year that can help you do both.
Camping clinics
Most clinics tie in with outdoor sports. Think canoeing at Big Bend National Park or backpacking at Big Thicket National Preserve. Wherever the trip is, you’ll go with a trained guide who can help you stay safe and make the most of your adventure.
Equipment rental
If you’d like to go camping, but you’re not ready to invest in equipment, don’t let that stop you from experiencing the resources this area has to offer. SFA Outdoor Pursuits offers equipment rentals from tents, sleeping bags and stoves to backpacks and mountain bikes.
