School of Nursing Admission Process
Students may be admitted each fall and spring semester based on completion of prerequisites and attainment of admission criteria. Admission is competitive based upon the applicant's overall GPA (2.5 or above) and science GPA (2.75 or above), as well as the completion of a required nursing entrance test. At the present time, the entrance test that is being given is the TEAS and can be scheduled through the Counseling and Career Services Office at SFA.

The number of students admitted may vary due to Board of Nursing (BON) requirements of student-to-instructor ratios. To be considered for admission review, the student must have applied and be admitted to the University.
