SFASU accepts transfer credit from regionally accredited institutions on a course-by-course basis as determined by the Office of Admissions. All courses are examined in terms of content, level, and credit hours awarded; the courses are subject to the following conditions:

  1. A maximum of 66 academic hours may be transferred from a junior or community college.
  2. There is no limit to the number of senior college hours that may be transferred. However, 42 semester hours (of which 36 hours are 300-499 level) must be completed in residence at SFA. Advanced Placement credit does not count as hours towards residency.
