OIT News and Announcements

OIT launches PANOPTO PILOT PROJECT

The Office of Instructional Technology is conducting a university-wide pilot of a Lecture Capture solution called PANOPTO and invites all faculty to participate in "test driving" the software during the Spring 2014 semester. The purpose of the pilot project is to gather feedback from faculty and students regarding the product before making a permanent purchasing decision.

PANOPTO promotes learner-centered environments by enabling faculty to easily record and store lectures, demonstrations, and other instructional content from a variety of devices anytime, anywhere. Students may review (or pre-view) the recordings to help them master the content and increase their learning. If you would like to try PANOPTO or would like more information, click the Lecture Capture link on the left of this page.
