Final Examinations (A-19)

Faculty members shall administer final examinations according to the official schedule published in the Schedule of Classes. Certain classes may be exempt from a final examination if determined appropriate by the department chair or director. Final examinations for any course not listed in the Schedule of Classes, including but not limited to distance education courses, online courses, and evening or weekend courses, should be scheduled in consideration of resource availability. No final examination may be administered after 5 p.m. on the last day of the semester. Exceptions may be made by the appropriate academic dean.
