Original Implementation: December 6, 1979
Last Revision: October 18, 2010

The provost and vice president for academic affairs (VPAA) shall conduct an annual performance review with each administrator who reports directly to the provost’s office. The performance review shall focus on whether responsibilities outlined by university policy or included in specific assignments have been fulfilled.

During the second year of service and once every three years thereafter, the performance review shall be augmented by written input from peers (deans, chair/directors) and appropriate faculty and administrative staff. The provost and VPAA shall develop the survey questions in consultation with appropriate administrators and the president.

Once completed, the provost and VPAA shall submit all review reports to the individual reviewed and the president.
