The Office of Internal Communications supports the campus community by helping to increase awareness and understanding of the university's events, accomplishments, objectives, key policies and decisions, and how they can be supported. Internal Communications aims to:
- Encourage a climate of involvement and trust throughout the university.
- Promote understanding of the issues affecting faculty, staff and students.
- Continually update faculty and staff on the university's developments and progress towards strategic goals.
- Support faculty and staff through public recognition of departmental, program, and individual successes and achievements.
- Support electronic communication services to increase visibility of campus events.

SFA Today, a daily faculty/staff electronic newsletter

- Items must be received by noon prior to the day of desired inclusion. The announcement should apply to a significant number of faculty and/or staff members.

SFA Weekly, a weekly student electronic newsletter during fall and spring semester
