SFA faculty works to be displayed at Teaching Excellence Center

The Teaching Excellence Center at Stephen F. Austin State University will host a reception to celebrate the opening of a Faculty Showcase at 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 2, on the second floor of the Steen Library. The showcase will display the works of faculty who have written books or produced art and other items.
According to Drs. Lauren Scharff and John Moore, directors of the Teaching Excellence Center, the showcase was formerly located in the Austin Building Board Room, but has been relocated to the Teaching Excellence Center so that faculty members and other guests will have more access to the works. Books will be available to patrons who would like to view them, and some will be available to patrons to check out of the library.
