Orchestra of the Pines to perform in Nacogdoches and Lufkin
Gene H. Moon, director of the Orchestra of the Pines, leads the orchestra during a recent concert. The regional orchestra's upcoming "Center Stage" concert, which will feature the four Stephen F. Austin State University students who were selected as finalists in SFA's annual concerto/aria competition, will be presented in two venues.
The first performance will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, in Cole Concert Hall on the Stephen F. Austin State University campus in Nacogdoches, and the second will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11, in the Temple Theater on the Angelina College campus in Lufkin.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and $5 for students. For tickets to the Nacogdoches concert, please call (936) 468-6407 or (888) 240-ARTS.
