SFA Chamber Orchestra to perform

NACOGDOCHES, TEXAS - The Stephen F. Austin State University College of Fine Arts and School of Music will present the Chamber Orchestra in concert at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 8, in Cole Concert Hall on the SFA campus.

Under the direction of Gene H. Moon, the orchestra will perform "Pursued" by SFA Associate Professor Stephen Lias. The piece was selected as a finalist for the "Homage to Mozart" international competition sponsored last year by the Chamber Orchestra Kremlin.

The orchestra will also present Antonio Vivaldi's "Concerto for Violin and Cello in B-flat Major," featuring SFA faculty members Jennifer Dalmas, violin, and Evegeni Raychev, cello.
