Creech to deliver garden lecture

Dr. David Creech
Dr. David Creech, Stephen F. Austin State University agriculture professor and director of the Mast Arboretum, will be the speaker for the first Les Reeves Lecture Series event of 2006 at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19. The lectures are free and open to the public, and a plant is given away during a raffle following each lecture.
Upcoming lectures include a presentation on camellias on Feb. 16 by Bobby Green, horticulturist from Fairhope, Ark., and a March 16 presentation on magnolias by University of Florida lecturer Gary Knox.
