Stephen F. Austin State University is now a testing site for American Medical Technologists (AMT) tests delivered through Pearson Vue.

Tests available include medical administrative specialist or office laboratory technician, medical laboratory technician or medical technologist, registered dental assistant, medical assistant, and phlebotomy technician.

Applicants apply and register for examinations as well as pay an authorization fee at the AMT Web site, http://www.amt1.com. After receiving authorization, applicants can schedule appointments with Pearson Vue either online at http://www.pearsonvue.com/amt or by phone at 1-888-846-6941.
