NACOGDOCHES, TEXAS - Parents of newborns through seven-year-olds have more options this summer for enrolling their children in Kindermusik Adventure Camps offered through the Stephen F. Austin State University Music Preparatory Division. Karen Greer, certified Kindermusik instructor, will offer three five-day camps at St. Cyprian's Episcopal School in Lufkin July 14 through 18 and three on the SFA campus in late July and early August. Space is limited and registrations are now being accepted.
"We are expanding our program in an effort to reach more families, said Pat Barnett, director of the Music Preparatory Division." Research has shown that music nurtures a child's cognitive, emotional, social, language and physical development, and the Kindermusik program gives a child a 'total music experience' when developmental factors are ripe for learning musical skills."
