SFA Vice President Baisden resigns

Deborah Baisden, vice president of finance and administration at Stephen F. Austin State University, today submitted a letter of resignation to the university.

I appreciate the service that Mrs. Baisden has given to SFA, and I wish her the best personally and professionally in the future, said President Dr. Baker Pattillo.

Baisden came to SFA in March 2006 after working with the Texas Legislative Budget Board since 1996. Previously she worked in the finance division of the Texas Department of Transportation from 1988-96.

Baisden earned a bachelor's degree in public administration and a Master of Business Administration degree from St. Edward's University. She is in the process of completing a dissertation for a doctorate in higher education administration.
