SFA to host gardening lecture

NACOGDOCHES, Texas – The Mast Arboretum at Stephen F. Austin State University will host the Les Reeves Lecture Series at 7 p.m. March 20 in the Agriculture Building Room 110 on Wilson Drive. Dr. David Knauft, University of Georgia professor, will present “Breeding Plants for the 21st Century.”
Knauft holds several U.S. patents and is well-known for his plant breeding programs and his distinguished career in teaching and research, according to Elyce Rodewald, education coordinator for the arboretum.
