Stephen F. Austin State University’s Department of General Business in the Nelson Rusche College of Business recently hosted its annual business advisory council meeting.

The council membership includes SFA alumni and representatives of businesses that hire SFA business graduates.

According to Dr. Debbie DuFrene, chair of the general business department, council members provide feedback on the department’s curriculum to ensure it meets the needs of employers. The council members also play a key role in helping SFA develop internship opportunities for business students.
