Stephen F. Austin State University

Stephen F. Austin State University recognized six faculty members for their contributions to the university with Teaching Excellence Awards at the Teaching Excellence Convocation on April 29. The recipients of the awards were, from left, Dr. Vi Alexander, professor of elementary education; Dr. Michele Harris, professor of chemistry; Dr. Sharon Templeman, associate professor of social work; Dr. Mark A. Scanlan, assistant professor of economics; Dr. I-Kuai Hung, assistant professor of forestry; and Dr. Jill Carrington, associate professor of art. The awards are sponsored by SFA’s Teaching Excellence Center.
