Hydrex Environmental endows Dolezel scholarship at SFA

Hydrex Environmental in Nacogdoches has endowed the Raymond “Chick” Dolezel Scholarship in Environmental Science at Stephen F. Austin State University. The scholarship honors Dolezel, a professional geoscientist with more than 40 years of experience in natural resource investigations.
The endowment was established by Hydrex where Dolezel works as senior soil scientist and natural resources specialist. His areas of expertise include soils engineering, soils forestry problems and soils contamination. He has authored numerous technical publications on East Texas soils.
The scholarship will benefit undergraduate students majoring in environmental science at SFA. The first award will be given in fall 2008.
