"This is going to be an exciting exhibition," said Christian Cutler, SFA gallery director. "We have a large influx of new faculty whose work the Nacogdoches community has not yet seen. Additionally, our 'seasoned' faculty are all submitting works they have completed within the last two years."
Cutler said the works range from drawings, paintings and photographs to sculptures, ceramics, art metals, film and more.
Included in the exhibition are works by John Daniel and Mary McCleary, both professors emeritus; regents professors William Arscott and Charles Jones; professors Peter Andrew, Piero Fenci, Gary Frields and Robert Kinsell; assistant professors Chad Erpelding, Maki Hajikano and Christopher Talbot; and Gary Parker, instructor.
Exhibiting works for the first time in the annual "SFA Faculty Exhibition" are the School of Art's newest assistant professor in foundations and drawing, Michelle Rozic; visiting assistant professors Neal Cox (digital media) and Gary Schott (art metal and jewelry); and visiting instructor Sarah Sudhoff (digital art and photography).
