EXPO 2008 will provide the small and disadvantaged businesses in the Deep East Texas area with the opportunity to meet with government agencies and prime contractors to determine what is required of them to become a supplier or subcontractor. It is an opportunity for small businesses and manufacturers to provide information on the products and services that they can provide as they visit with government agencies and prime contacts on a one to one basis.
In addition, the Veterans to Business (V2B 2008) Conference will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2008 from 1:00pm until 5:00pm to provide assistance to Veterans in understanding what programs are available to them and how to apply for benefits. There will be speakers from the Center for Veterans Enterprise, the Veterans Business Opportunities Center, Small Business Administration, and the local VA Medical Facilities.
The Texas Veterans Land Board will provide a presentation the evening of December 3rd from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
